How the audit works.
What does each audit category check?
Website: Core Web Vitals (LCP <2.5s, INP <200ms, CLS <0.1), E-E-A-T across all four dimensions, AEO & AI citation readiness, structured data, security headers (HSTS, CSP), technical crawlability, and conversion architecture. Social: Profile completeness & verification, algorithm engagement benchmarks by tier (Nano 5–8%, Micro 3–5%), content cadence, cross-platform consistency, hashtag strategy, and video watch-through rates (>70% = viral on TikTok). Reputation: SERP page-one ownership (<60% owned = vulnerability), review score tiers (3.5 / 4.2 / 4.5 benchmarks), brand sentiment, knowledge panel presence, and active crisis tripwires.
How is the score calculated?
Every metric is scored 0–100 against published thresholds (for example LCP: 2.5 s = 90, 4 s = 50). Section scores are weighted averages, and the overall score is a weighted average of sections — computed in code, not by the AI, so the same data always gives the same score. Metrics we could not verify count less, and anything we could not measure is shown as “Not measured” and left out. 80+ = Good · 50–79 = Needs work · <50 = Critical.
How does AI grounding work?
Website audits measure first: Google PageSpeed Insights (Lighthouse lab data plus real-user Chrome UX Report data) and a direct crawl of your page, headers, robots.txt, sitemap and structured data. For off-site signals the AI searches Google live and must cite a source for each claim — every metric is labelled Measured, Search-cited or AI estimate.
How accurate are the results?
Measured metrics are exact for the moment of the audit. Search-cited metrics are as good as the public sources behind them (linked in the Evidence section). AI estimates are flagged and weighted down. Blind spots: private analytics, content behind logins, and pages that render only after user interaction.
How long does an audit take?
Typically 40–90 seconds. You will see each stage as it runs, and measured scores appear before the written analysis is ready. The report is saved at its own link, so you can leave and come back.
What should I do with the results?
Start with the Critical actions — the waterfall chart shows how much each priority tier should lift your score, and the impact/effort matrix shows the quick wins. Every action links to the metrics it fixes and explains how. Tick actions off as you go, or copy them into your task tracker.
Can I audit competitors?
Yes. Reputation and Social audits accept any public brand name or handle. Website audits work on any publicly accessible domain. Competitive intelligence is a primary use case — benchmark your SERP ownership, review scores, and engagement rates against a competitor in under a minute.
Is my data private?
Each audit is saved under a private, unguessable link for up to 12 months so you can return to it or share it; it contains only the audited target and the report. No account is required — anonymous sign-in is used for rate limiting and to list your own recent audits on this device.
