Orchestration: Kubernetes

Automated container management. Includes Horizontal Pod Autoscaling, Self-Healing Logic, Service Mesh Implementation and Helm Chart Management — delivered by…

Kubernetes orchestrates containers at scale: deploying, scaling and healing them automatically. IQDigital runs Kubernetes clusters with horizontal pod autoscaling, self-healing workloads, namespaces that separate environments, Helm charts for packaging and a service mesh such as Istio or Linkerd for traffic control and mTLS security.

Who it's for

  • Teams running many containerised services
  • Companies whose Kubernetes setup has become hard to manage
  • Platforms that need automatic scaling and recovery

What is Kubernetes orchestration?

Containers are powerful, but managing thousands of them is chaos without a conductor. IQDigital leverages Kubernetes (K8s) to orchestrate your containerized applications. K8s is the industry standard for automating deployment, scaling, and management. We tame the complexity of K8s to give you its power without the pain.

How self-healing and autoscaling work

We implement 'Self-Healing' clusters. If a container crashes, K8s restarts it. If a node dies, K8s reschedules the workload to a healthy node. We configure 'Horizontal Pod Autoscaling' (HPA) to add more replicas of your app as CPU usage rises. We use 'Namespaces' to isolate environments (Dev vs. Prod) within the same cluster to save costs.

What a service mesh adds

We manage the 'Service Mesh' (Istio/Linkerd) to control traffic flow, enforce security policies (mTLS), and gain observability between services. We treat K8s as a platform, building a resilient ecosystem where your applications can thrive at planetary scale.

What's included

  • Horizontal Pod Autoscaling — Dynamic scaling based on load.
  • Self-Healing Logic — Automated recovery from pod failures.
  • Service Mesh Implementation — Traffic control and mTLS security.
  • Helm Chart Management — Package management for K8s apps.

How an engagement runs

  1. Diagnose (Week 1) — We find the money before we spend yours.
  2. Build (2–8 weeks) — Senior engineers. Your stack. Weekly proof.
  3. Launch (Go-live) — Released against a baseline, not a hope.
  4. Compound (Ongoing) — The second month should beat the first.

How the work is scoped

  • Engagement: Fixed-scope project · optional managed support

Questions about Orchestration

What does self-healing mean in Kubernetes?

If a container crashes, Kubernetes restarts it; if a node fails, its workloads are rescheduled onto healthy nodes.

How does autoscaling work?

Horizontal pod autoscaling adds replicas of your app as load rises and removes them when it falls.

What is a service mesh?

A layer such as Istio or Linkerd that controls traffic between services, enforces mutual TLS (mTLS) security and adds observability.

What are Helm charts?

Packages that define how an application is deployed to Kubernetes, making releases repeatable and versioned.
